The McAninch Arts Center will mark its 40th anniversary with a free outdoor festival featuring music, dance, art activities and food.
Performances will begin at noon with the student and alumni jazz ensemble Good After V.
The schedule also includes a student dance showcase, dance lessons, a New Philharmonic trombone trio and selections from College Theater’s production of “Footloose.”
Sixteen Candles, a Chicago-based 1980s tribute band, will perform at 2 p.m.
Activities will include face painting, woodblock printmaking, mural painting, a scavenger hunt, photo opportunities and tours of the outdoor “Walking With Giants” exhibition.
Visitors are encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations benefiting the Glen House Food Pantry and College of DuPage Fuel Pantry.
