Don't Forget to Fall Back! Clocks Change Halloween Night |
Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, November 1, 2026 |

There's a little extra treat coming this Halloween weekend—an extra hour of sleep!
Daylight Saving Time officially ends at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2026, when clocks turn back one hour to 1:00 a.m.
Before heading to bed on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31, remember to set your clocks back one hour.
Most smartphones and other connected devices will adjust automatically, but don't forget to change your wall clocks, appliances, and car clocks.
This is also a good time to check the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and make sure the alarms are working properly.
With the time change, sunset will arrive earlier in the evening, so keep that in mind as you plan outdoor activities.
Enjoy that extra hour, Lombard, Glen Ellyn, and Villa Park! |
