Glen Ellyn is gearing up to commemorate America's 250th anniversary with a series of engaging events that honor the nation's rich history.
Among the highlights is a special presentation by historian and actor Terry Lynch, titled "America @250—Countdown to 250, Celebrating Our Freedom."
This event is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, at 2:00 PM at the Glen Ellyn History Center, located at 800 N. Main Street.
Attendees will explore how the United States has celebrated its milestone anniversaries, from the 50th to the upcoming 250th, in an engaging program suitable for all ages.
Admission is free for members of the Glen Ellyn Historical Society and students, while adults can attend for $10.
