Residents interested in election safeguards and the protection of voter information can attend Behind the Ballot: Election and Voter Data Security in Glen Ellyn on Thursday, October 15.

Hosted by the League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn, the community meeting runs from 7 to 8 p.m., with doors opening at 6:45 p.m.

The venue is the Glen Ellyn Historical Society, 800 N. Main St.

The program will feature David Goldberg, PhD, a College of DuPage political science professor, discussing issues surrounding mail-in voting and the upcoming November election.

His presentation will also explore the history of the United States’ decentralized election system.
