The Christian Church of Villa Park is inviting neighbors to celebrate its new home at 507 E. St. Charles Road, Unit C, where both the congregation and its Disciples Food Pantry have relocated.

The grand opening celebration and worship service will welcome the community to the church’s new space.

For families who rely on the church’s food assistance, the move also brings an important update: the Disciples Food Pantry will continue its outreach from the same new address.

The weekly drive-up pantry currently serves visitors on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The church reports that the pantry assists an average of 263 households each month, reaching approximately 801 individuals throughout the community.

Church leaders thanked the local businesses and community members whose donations help fill the pantry’s shelves and sustain its service to local families.

As the congregation settles into its new home, it is inviting neighbors to experience an inclusive community centered on putting God’s love into practice.

The November 1 gathering offers an opportunity to meet the congregation and learn more about the church’s presence in the neighborhood.
