Priority enrollment begins November 4; all-student registration opens November 11 before January 25 classes |

Students across Lombard, Glen Ellyn and Villa Park can soon begin planning their next semester as College of DuPage prepares to open spring 2027 registration.
Priority registration begins Wednesday, November 4, 2026, for returning COD students who have completed at least 30 credit hours at the college.
All other students may register starting Wednesday, November 11, giving new and continuing students an opportunity to secure their preferred courses.
The spring semester begins Monday, January 25, 2027, and offers a range of schedules to accommodate different educational goals.
Students can choose from one 16-week session, two 12-week sessions and two eight-week sessions, with later-starting options available during the semester.
According to the academic calendar, the second 12-week session begins February 22, while the second eight-week session begins March 22.
Classes are offered in in-person, hybrid, virtual and online formats, allowing students to consider the balance of classroom and remote learning that works for them.
That flexibility can be particularly valuable to area residents managing work, family commitments or a return to school after time away.
College of DuPage, based in Glen Ellyn, serves more than 28,000 students and offers seven associate degrees alongside more than 180 career and technical certificate programs.
The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and provides academic as well as career-focused pathways.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. Central Time, so students interested in popular classes may want to review course availability ahead of their opening date.
Current and prospective students can find registration instructions, enrollment deadlines and course planning information through the college's Student Registration Services.
Those who need help choosing classes can also contact COD Academic Advising at 630-942-2259 to discuss their educational plans.
Whether pursuing a degree, gaining career skills or exploring a new subject, spring registration offers a timely opportunity to take the next step. |
