Mustards Craft BBQ has announced that its first brick-and-mortar restaurant is coming to the Villa Oaks strip in Villa Park, but the restaurant is not open yet.

The owners shared the clarification after their announcement prompted questions from customers eager to visit.

What began with recipes tested in a home kitchen and orders handed out from a garage has grown into a food truck business supported by barbecue fans across the area.

Three years in the making

For three years, the Mustards team explored locations in several communities while searching for a space suitable for its Texas-inspired smoking and cooking process.

The restaurant plan represents the next chapter in that journey, but there is still work to do before doors open.

The owners expressed appreciation to customers who visited garage pickups, found the food truck at events, waited in line, and introduced friends to their food.

Where to find Mustards in the meantime

While construction and opening preparations continue, customers can still enjoy Mustards Craft BBQ at select events served by its food truck.
