DuPagePads Breakfast in Glen Ellyn to Inspire Community |
24th Annual Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast supports housing solutions on November 4 |

Neighbors across DuPage County are invited to begin their day with purpose at DuPagePads’ 24th Annual Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast, a morning devoted to hope, connection and ending homelessness.
The event takes place Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 7 to 9 a.m. at Abbington Banquets, 3S002 Illinois Route 53 in Glen Ellyn.
Guests can enjoy breakfast, meet fellow community supporters and hear how local housing services are changing lives.
New this year, several DuPagePads clients will share their personal experiences in place of the traditional keynote speaker.
Their stories will offer a closer look at the difference a stable home and the right support can make for individuals and families.
DuPagePads President and CEO April Redzic will also provide updates on the organization's continuing work.
The morning will recognize DuPagePads Partners, supporters whose ongoing financial commitments help the organization provide services throughout the year.
For neighbors in Lombard, Glen Ellyn and Villa Park, this is an opportunity to see how a community-wide response can bring lasting change.
Homelessness affects real people and families in our region, and DuPagePads works to connect them with housing, support services and opportunities for greater independence.
The breakfast celebrates those efforts and encourages residents and local businesses to be part of the solution.
Please note the earlier start time for this year's event when planning your morning.
Tickets are available through the registration page linked from the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce event listing or through the official DuPagePads event page.
For questions about attending, contact Carrie Flick at 630-682-3846, extension 2290.
Whether you're a longtime supporter or learning about DuPagePads for the first time, the gathering offers a meaningful way to connect with the mission and the neighbors it serves. |
