Election Day Tuesday November 3, 2026; polls open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Lombard, Glen Ellyn and Villa Park

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, and neighbors in Lombard, Glen Ellyn and Villa Park can use this quick guide to plan their trip to the polls.

This guide focuses on voting information and official resources, with no candidate, party or referendum endorsements.

DATE: Tuesday, November 3, 2026

TIME: 6 a.m.–7 p.m. Central

LOCATION: Election Day polling places throughout DuPage County

Where can I vote?

DuPage County voters may cast their ballot at any Election Day polling place within the county.

Check the county’s current polling-place listings before heading out, since an early-voting site is not automatically your Election Day location.

If you are in line when polls close at 7 p.m., stay in line to vote.

Check your registration and preview your ballot

The DuPage Voter Lookup lets you check your registration, find polling information and view your sample ballot.

Use your own address to see the contests and any referendum questions that apply to you.

Reviewing the complete sample ballot beforehand gives you time to read the wording and research your choices.

Need to register or update your information?

Eligible voters can still use in-person grace-period registration through Election Day at designated locations.

Bring two forms of identification, including one showing your current residence address, and be prepared to register and vote during the same visit.

Contact the DuPage Election Division if you have moved, changed your name or need help confirming where registration is available.

Already have a mail ballot?

Follow the return-envelope instructions carefully, including signing and sealing it.

A mailed ballot must be postmarked no later than November 3 and received by the election authority by November 17.

If mailing close to Election Day, request a manual postmark at the post office counter rather than assuming a collection-box deposit will receive that day’s postmark.

Check the county’s Vote by Mail information for authorized return options and ballot tracking.

Questions before you go?

Call the DuPage County Election Division at 630-407-5600 for help with registration, polling locations or mail ballots.

Information checked November 2, 2026, using DuPage County, the Illinois State Board of Elections and Illinois Legal Aid Online’s voting guide.
