Curious about using artificial intelligence at work, at home or in the classroom?
College of DuPage will host a free AI Literacy Summit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, at its Glen Ellyn campus.
The event takes place in Student Resource Center, Room 2000, at 425 Fawell Blvd.
Students, educators, parents, professionals and community members are welcome, and no previous AI experience is required.
Participants can explore practical tools while learning to evaluate AI responses and recognize when human oversight matters.
Breakout choices include ChatGPT for Work, which focuses on professional applications; ChatGPT for Parents, which examines AI in learning and everyday life; and Building with ChatGPT, for participants ready to expand their skills.
The schedule includes an opening keynote, a foundations presentation and two breakout periods, followed by shared takeaways and closing remarks.
For local residents, the summit offers an accessible way to move from curiosity to informed use, with responsible practices built into the discussion.
Space is limited, so attendees should RSVP through the summit registration page to reserve a spot. |
