The Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce is bringing families together for a free Saturday morning at the movies on November 7, 2026, with a showing of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

The screening is part of the Chamber’s Fall Free Family Movies series at the Glen Art Theatre, 540 Crescent Boulevard in downtown Glen Ellyn.

Doors open at 10:00 a.m., giving moviegoers time to settle in before the film begins at 10:30 a.m..

Admission is free, making the morning an easy outing for parents, grandparents, and kids looking for something fun to do together.

The animated adventure follows young inventor Flint Lockwood, whose unusual machine causes food to fall from the sky, turning an imaginative idea into a hilarious and messy surprise.

With flying spaghetti, giant meatballs, and plenty of laughs, the movie offers a playful way for families to enjoy a classic big-screen experience.

The November 7 showing is sponsored by the Glen Ellyn Newcomers and Neighbors Club, one of the local groups helping make this seasonal movie series possible.

Families can arrive early, find their seats, and enjoy a relaxed start to the weekend in the heart of Glen Ellyn.

The theater’s convenient downtown location also makes it easy to pair the film with a stroll around the neighborhood or a visit to nearby shops afterward.

The movie is listed as a free-entry event, so families can enjoy a morning of entertainment without purchasing admission tickets.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 7, and bring the family along for a food-filled adventure on the big screen.
