EF0 did touch down last Monday, July 27th, in Glen Ellyn.

 

Village crews, ComEd, and our public safety partners continue working throughout Glen Ellyn to clear storm damage and restore services.

Power Outages
As of 8 am, approximately 1,819 customers remain without power. ComEd crews continue restoration efforts throughout the Village. 80% restoration was expected by Wednesday, July 29th at noon.

Storm Debris & Refuse
The Village is collecting branches from parkway trees. Additional information regarding branch and brush pickup will be shared as plans are finalized. Groot will finalize this week's pickup on Wednesday and Thursday for any homes that were inaccessible on Monday.

Please continue to:
Avoid barricaded streets and downed power lines.
Use caution around cleanup crews and utility workers.
Report emergencies by calling 911.
