On July 27th, the area was hit with severe storms. Glen Ellyn had a recorded EF0 tornado.

 

Following the July 27 storm, Village crews, ComEd, public safety personnel, and contractors worked throughout Glen Ellyn to clear debris, reopen streets, and restore electrical service by last Wednesday afternoon. Residents should visit the Village of Glen Ellyn and ComEd websites for the latest cleanup and outage information.
