An October 14 public meeting offers residents a chance to comment before recommendations move forward. |

Glen Ellyn residents can weigh in on proposed sidewalk installations during the Capital Improvements Commission’s meeting on Wednesday, October 14.
The village is evaluating new sidewalks as part of its planned 2027 Utility and Roadway Improvements Project, with proposed locations shown in the maps accompanying its public notice.
DATE: Wednesday, October 14, 2026
TIME: 7 p.m.
LOCATION: Glen Ellyn Civic Center, Room 301, 535 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn
Village staff will present the proposals and ask the commission for a recommendation on whether to proceed.
The commission advises the Village Board; the proposed work is not a final construction decision.
Residents are encouraged to share their views at the meeting.
Anyone unable to attend can contact Steve Warner, Civil Engineer II with Glen Ellyn Public Works, at (630) 547-5512 or swarner@glenellyn.org.
