Glenbard District 87 will bring student musicians together for its annual Stringfest concert on Tuesday, October 6, at Glenbard East High School.

The evening will feature orchestras from all four Glenbard high schools along with six middle school orchestras from the district’s sender schools.

Stringfest gives families and neighbors a chance to hear a large cross-section of young musicians perform in one place while celebrating the strength of music education across the Glenbard community.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at Glenbard East, 1014 S. Main Street in Lombard.

District leaders are encouraging community members to attend, support the students and enjoy an evening of live orchestral music.

The event also creates a connection between middle school musicians and the high school programs they may join in the years ahead.

With students representing multiple schools across the district, Stringfest is designed as a shared celebration rather than a single-school performance.

DATE: Tuesday, October 6, 2026

TIME: 7:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main Street, Lombard
