Postseason football comes home to Lombard and Villa Park this weekend, with Glenbard East and Willowbrook both opening the IHSA playoffs on their own fields.

The two games give local fans back-to-back opportunities to support area students under the lights Friday and during a Saturday afternoon kickoff.

GLENBARD EAST VS. BARTLETT

DATE: Friday, October 23, 2026

TIME: 7 p.m.

LOCATION: Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main Street, Lombard

The Rams will host Bartlett in their opening-round matchup, bringing playoff energy to a familiar field and a fan base that can make a short trip to the stadium.

Friday’s game offers Lombard a prime-time start to a busy postseason weekend.

WILLOWBROOK VS. CHICAGO AMUNDSEN

DATE: Saturday, October 24, 2026

TIME: 1 p.m.

LOCATION: Willowbrook High School, 1250 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park

Willowbrook follows with a Saturday afternoon home game against Chicago Amundsen, giving Villa Park families a second local playoff destination.

Home-field games keep the postseason close to the students, families and neighbors who supported both teams throughout the regular season.

Fans should arrive early, allow time for parking and check school or IHSA updates before leaving in case game-day procedures or weather conditions change.

Both contests are opening-round games, so each result will determine whether the local team advances or sees its season end.
