Guardian Corps of America is preparing for cold weather and seeking supplies to distribute to people experiencing homelessness.

The organization’s appeal asks donors to provide brand-new items.

Urgently needed clothing includes socks, T-shirts, underwear, jackets and warm winter coats.

Nonperishable food is also requested, with pop-top lids preferred.

Sleeping supplies on the list include sleeping bags, blankets and two-person tents.

Donors can contribute hygiene products or preassembled hygiene kits.

The appeal also requests dog and cat food for veterans whose pets provide companionship.

For donation information, visit the organization’s website or email info@usaguardian.org.
