Glen Ellyn Public Library will trade its usual evening routine for carnival-themed Halloween fun at this year’s Haunted Library event.
DATE: Friday, October 16, 2026
TIME: 6 to 8 p.m.
Location: Glen Ellyn Public Library, 400 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn
The first floor will feature family-friendly frights, while the second floor will offer scary scenes recommended for ages 13 and older.
Costumes are encouraged, and the event welcomes adults and children of all ages. Families can choose the experience that fits their comfort level.
The library will close at 2 p.m. that day and reopen at 6 p.m. for the event.
