Creative businesses in Glen Ellyn marked a new chapter with a Chamber ribbon-cutting celebration scheduled for October 16, 2026.

The event introduced the transformation of Local Glass Studio into Local Art Studio & Events, a broader creative space offering classes and community experiences.

The same celebration welcomed The Torch Garage, which is taking over the flameworking portion of the studio.

Torch Garage owner Kasey Larson brings her expertise to hands-on glass experiences at the shared location.

Parker Quincy, owned by Doreen Corrigan, was also part of the Chamber's announced ribbon-cutting program, bringing candles and fragrances into the creative mix.

The Chamber also highlighted painting classes and entertainment connected with Pinot's Palette of St. Charles.

The businesses share space at 800 Roosevelt Road, Building D, Suite 10.

For neighbors who enjoy learning a craft or finding a unique local experience, the expanded lineup creates another reason to explore Glen Ellyn's small-business community.

Residents interested in classes and events can check directly with each business for current schedules.
