Lombard firefighters are wearing pink throughout October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and residents can join the effort by purchasing a “Firefighters for a Cure” T-shirt.

The annual fundraiser benefits the Bhorade Cancer Care Center at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, with all proceeds supporting cancer care in the community.

DATE: Throughout October, while supplies last.

LOCATION: Lombard Fire Station 45, 50 E. St. Charles Road.

COST: $25 per pink T-shirt.
