Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at the Lombard Historical Society’s 5th Annual Food Truck Social on Maple Street. This family-friendly fundraiser will feature food trucks, live music, children’s entertainment, historic exhibits and a 50/50 raffle.

 

Guests can enjoy lobster, Polish and Ecuadorian specialties, Mexican cuisine, pizza, barbecue, gourmet grilled cheese, Italian ice and more. Entertainment includes a Red, White & Bluey Meet and Greet from 4–6 p.m., Tautologic from 4:30–6 p.m., Jay Jay the Clown from 5–7 p.m. and the Southside Blues Brothers Tribute Band from 7:15–9 p.m.

Additional activities include Hoops Chicago, face painting, balloon animals and giant bubbles.

 

The Victorian Cottage’s first floor, Carriage House, Lilac Emporium Gift Shop and the Power of Place exhibit will also be open. Proceeds support the Lombard Historical Society’s preservation and educational programs.
