Lombard neighbors have chosen their Halloween favorites, with more than 2,000 votes cast in the 2026 Halloween House Decorating Contest.

The results celebrate three homes whose creative displays helped make the season memorable, along with every household that joined the fun.

First place: House #19 — 1070 Jeffrey Court, with 372 votes.

The colorful display brought a Halloween-inspired Hawkins scene to the neighborhood, with lights and special touches throughout the yard.

Second place: House #14 — 239 E. Sunset Avenue, with 214 votes.

Skeletons, hanging ghosts and spooky decorations filled the front yard, giving neighbors plenty to take in.

Third place: House #26 — 21W061 Everest Road, with 192 votes.

An elaborate entrance, glowing skulls and festive frights helped this display earn its place among the top three.

Congratulations to all three winners!

Thank you to all 26 participating households, everyone who voted and the neighbors who took time to enjoy the decorations.

These displays take imagination and effort, and they gave our community one more reason to get outside, explore and celebrate together.
