The Lombard Police Department marked a promotion and welcomed five new officers during an October 1 swearing-in ceremony at Village Hall.
Charles Brack took the oath as sergeant, while Jack Evoy, Michael Knezevic, Damian Jimenez, Cameron Winters and Aaron Diaz-Sepulveda were sworn in as probationary police officers.
Police Chief Joe Grage introduced the officers, and Village Clerk Ranya Elkhatib administered their oaths of office.
Family members, friends, village officials and fellow officers attended to celebrate the milestones and the officers’ new roles serving Lombard.
The village congratulated Sgt. Brack on his promotion and welcomed the five probationary officers to the department.
