The Village of Lombard invites residents to gather at the Sunken Garden in Lombard Common Park on Wednesday, November 11, for its annual Veterans Day ceremony honoring those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

The observance begins at 11 a.m. near the intersection of Grace and Maple streets, offering neighbors an opportunity to recognize local veterans and reflect on their service.

The program is expected to include remarks from the Village President, music performed by local high school students, and tributes to military service members.

The Village is hosting the ceremony with support from Lilac VFW Post 5815 and American Legion Lombard Post 391.

Residents of all ages are welcome, making this a meaningful way for families and neighbors to participate in the community's Veterans Day observance.

If weather prevents an outdoor gathering, the ceremony will move inside Lombard Village Hall, 255 E. Wilson Avenue.
