Lombard Village Hall will not serve as an Election Day polling place for the Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, General Election.

The notice affects voters who may remember casting a ballot at the municipal building at 255 E. Wilson Ave. or who might otherwise assume it remains available.

Voters should confirm their destination before heading out.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 3.

DuPage County’s Vote Anywhere program gives eligible county voters more flexibility because they may cast a ballot at any Election Day polling place in DuPage County.

That means a voter is not limited to one neighborhood precinct site, but Village Hall is still off the list.

Vote Anywhere can be useful for residents whose work, school or caregiving schedules take them across the county during polling hours.

It also offers a backup if a voter reaches a familiar location and finds that the site has changed.

The safest approach is to look up an active polling location before leaving home.

Residents can also review early-voting locations, their sample ballot, registration information and vote-by-mail resources through the county’s election services.

Checking a sample ballot in advance can help voters understand which races and questions will appear and reduce the time needed at the voting booth.

Anyone relying on public transportation or arranging a ride may want to identify both a preferred polling site and an alternate location.

Voters who arrive before 7 p.m. should follow the instructions provided at the active polling location.

The local change is straightforward, but it matters because a closed or relocated polling place can create confusion on a busy Election Day.

Village Hall’s address should not be used as a voting destination on Nov. 3.

Residents can instead use any open Election Day polling place in DuPage County under Vote Anywhere.

Before Election Day, voters should verify registration details, review their ballot choices and note the hours and address of the location they plan to use.

A few minutes of preparation can prevent an unnecessary trip and make the voting process smoother.
