Lombard residents can tackle fall cleanup without buying yard-waste stickers for leaves during the Village’s six-week Free Fall Leaf Collection Program.

DATES: Monday, November 2–Friday, December 11, 2026

COLLECTION: Your regular WM collection day

LOCATION: Curbside at participating Lombard residences

There is no limit on the amount of leaves residents may put out through the program, but they must be packed in biodegradable paper yard-waste bags.

Keep those bags for leaves only: other yard waste cannot be mixed in, and leaves in cans will not qualify for free pickup.

Brush is excluded. Bundle it with non-plastic twine and attach a yard-waste sticker for collection.

Residents who prefer to compost at home can also explore the Village’s Compost Bin Reimbursement Program, which offers eligible residents up to $80 toward a bin.

See the Village announcement and yard-waste guidelines for details.
