Kojak may be a little shy when he first meets you, but his rescue describes a puppy with plenty of affection to share.

This black-and-white retriever mix is waiting for a home through 4 Paws 4 U 4 Ever in West Chicago.

Born around May 27, 2026, Kojak is about five months old and was one of two puppies from his litter who made the trip to the rescue.

His profile describes him as sweet and loving, with tail wags—and perhaps a puppy kiss—for someone willing to get acquainted.

Kojak is listed as good with children and other dogs, with vaccinations current.

The listing places him in the medium-size category, an estimated 26–60 pounds when fully grown; his current weight is not provided.

For readers in Lombard, Glen Ellyn and Villa Park who are considering adding a dog to their family, he is a nearby pup worth getting to know.

His adoption fee is $450.
