Lombard Park District is getting younger Halloween fans into the spirit with Monster Bash on Thursday, October 22.

The afternoon event runs from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Knoll Recreation Center, 820 S. Finley Road in Lombard.

Families can expect spooky games, ghoulish treats and plenty of costume fun during the one-hour celebration.

Children are encouraged to arrive dressed in costume and ready for a playful, age-friendly Halloween outing.

Monster Bash offers families a daytime alternative to the busier evening Halloween events filling the October calendar.

Because the event is organized by the park district, registration is recommended before heading over.
