Join the m.o.v.e. Foundation for a special, open-to-everyone movement class where fitness meets purpose! You’ll experience intentional, whole-body exercise, learn how the brain drives movement, and discover the power of volition in action. No experience or Parkinson’s diagnosis is needed—bring a friend, neighbor, or family member and join the fun.

📅 August 2, 2026
⏰ 11:00 AM–12:30 PM
📍 Madison Meadows Athletic Center
500 E. Wilson Ave., Lombard

Every dollar donated will be matched, and proceeds will remain local to support free m.o.v.e. programming for people living with Parkinson’s disease. m.o.v.e. brings together physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and social-work support to help participants take a proactive, whole-person approach from the beginning of their diagnosis.

This is a ticketed event and attendance is limited to 100 participants, so register soon:

The Lombard Lilac Ledger is a local online newsletter for the Lombard, Glen Ellyn and Villa Park communities. It shares news, events, and fun things happening around town, along with highlights of local businesses and neighbors. Our goal is to help people stay connected and support the small businesses that make Lombard a great place to live. Each issue is positive, easy to read, and focused on bringing our community together. Because when we support local, Lombard, Glen Ellyn, and Villa Park grow stronger.
