Picnic Table Sponsorship Program Invites Villa Park Support |
Community park improvements near the Rotary Club Playground |

Villa Park residents and businesses have a new way to make a lasting contribution to their community's parks.
The Garden Village Commission is welcoming support for its Picnic Table Sponsorship Program, which will help add seating near the Rotary Club Playground at South Villa Avenue and East Park Boulevard.
The project aims to create more inviting places for neighbors to gather, enjoy a meal outdoors, or take a break while visiting the playground.
Each new picnic table costs approximately $850 to purchase and install, and the commission has established three giving levels so individuals and organizations can participate.
A Garden Friend contribution of $250 includes name or logo recognition on the Village website.
At the $500 Garden Supporter level, sponsors also receive recognition through Village social media.
Those contributing $850 or more become Garden Champions, sponsoring a picnic table and receiving website and social media recognition along with an engraved plaque on the table.
The effort fits the commission's broader mission of improving and preserving Villa Park's green spaces and promoting environmentally sustainable practices.
For local businesses, it offers a way to support an everyday community space while gaining recognition for that contribution.
Residents, businesses, civic organizations, and community groups interested in participating can contact the commission at gardenvillage@invillapark.com for details.
