Roadway improvements in Lombard Illinois made easy

One significant project underway is the construction of a new 1.5-million-gallon elevated water tower along Butterfield Road, just east of Yorktown Mall.

 

This initiative aims to strengthen and modernize Lombard's water system infrastructure, ensuring reliable service for the community.

 

Additionally, the Charles Lane Basin Improvements project is set to begin in summer 2026.

 

This project focuses on enhancing stormwater operations, facility maintenance, and neighborhood aesthetics, benefiting approximately 1,600 homes in the area.

 

For those interested in park developments, the Lombard Park District has recently completed Phase 2 of the Four Seasons Park project.
