FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30

Reserve 22 Family Spooktacular Party — Glen Ellyn, 6–8 p.m.: DJ, dancing, crafts, coloring and kid-friendly bites, with Sally and a HUNTRIX-inspired K-pop singer; tickets are $35 per person, ages 3–8 suggested, and pumpkin carving is sold out.

Villa Park VFW Post 2801 Halloween Party — 7–10 p.m.: All ages are welcome for live music by Full Volume and costume contests, with the kitchen open until 8 p.m.

Glen Ellyn Tween Hallow's Eve Silent Disco — Lake Ellyn Boathouse, 7–8:30 p.m.: A tween-friendly Halloween celebration from the Park District; check registration availability because spots may already be filled.

Villa Park Ace Hardware Howl-O-Ween Bash — 46 S. Villa Avenue, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.: Meet adoptable dogs from Fetching Tails Foundation, browse vendors and samples, enjoy raffles benefiting the rescue, and find a Vitalant blood drive.

Noon Whistle's Smashing Pumpkins Halloween Party — Lombard (and Naperville), Saturday, October 31: Little Monsters Brunch from 11 a.m.–2 p.m., with cookie decorating and seasonal activities, followed by additional Halloween festivities and pumpkin smashing. Check the brewery for the full schedule.

OFFICIAL HALLOWEEN TRICK-OR-TREAT HOURS — Lombard: 3–7 p.m. (recommended);

Glen Ellyn: 3–7 p.m. (recommended);
