Downtown Glen Ellyn invites you to gather for one of DuPage County’s most anticipated summer traditions: the Jazz Up Music Festival, returning this year with a powerful BLUES Edition curated by internationally acclaimed guitarist and Artistic Director Fareed Haque.

 

 This year’s festival celebrates the deep roots of Chicago blues and the vibrant intersection where jazz meets blues, bringing world-class musicians, local talent, and community partners together for an unforgettable day of music in the heart of historic Downtown Glen Ellyn.

10:00–11:30 AM — Jazz Brunch at Nobel House

12:00–1:30 PM — WDCB Kick-Off Party at Maplewood Brewery

1:00–2:30 PM — Master Class with Frank Catalano

2:30–9:30 PM — Jazz Up Music Festival: BLUES Edition (Main Stage) Main Stage Lineup

2:30–3:00 PM — School of Rock

3:00–3:30 PM — Windy City Ramblers (Marching begins at 2 PM from Maplewood Public House to Main Stage)

 3:45–4:35 PM — DuPage Community Jazz Ensemble featuring Tammy McCann & Devon Sandridge

5:00–5:20 PM — Bellas Artes School of Music Student Jazz Combos 5:30–6:20 PM — Joanna Connor Band

6:30–6:50 PM — Bellas Artes Battle of the Combos – 2nd Place Winners 7:00–7:50 PM — Fareed Haque plays Grant Green featuring Tony Monaco

8:00–8:20 PM — Bellas Artes Battle of the Combos – 1st Place Winners 8:30–9:30 PM — Frank Catalano Group Emcee for the evening is Dan Bindert, Radio Station Manager at 90.9FM WDCB, whose leadership and passion for jazz and blues continue to elevate Chicago’s music scene.
