Villa Park is serving up a different kind of movie night on Saturday, November 7, when the Friends of the Villa Park Library host a special film fundraiser built around all things cheese.

The evening pairs a screening of The Big Cheese with a cheese tasting reception presented with Full Circle Cheese.

The documentary takes viewers into the world of competitive cheesemongering at Mondial du Fromage, an international competition often described as the Olympics of Cheese.

Guests can sample cheese before settling in to enjoy the one-time screening, and each ticket comes with a goodie bag.

A portion of the evening's ticket sales will benefit the Friends of the Villa Park Library, a volunteer group that helps support library programs, collections and other community resources.

DATE: Saturday, November 7, 2026

TIME: 6–9 p.m.; doors open at 6 p.m.

LOCATION: Villa Park Public Library, 305 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park

TICKETS: $50 per person

The event will take place in the library's Ohrman Room A/B.

Tickets are available online or in person at the library, with sales having started October 5.
