Two Willowbrook High School students have made history as the first female members of Villa Park Troop 199 to earn the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout.
Members of Willowbrook's Class of 2026, Lily Conboy and Teresa Farquhar achieved Scouting's highest honor through years of leadership, service, and dedication to their community.
Lily Conboy earned her Eagle Scout rank in December 2025 after completing a service project benefiting The Outreach House in Lombard. She organized a community diaper drive that collected and distributed more than 6,400 diapers to local families in need. During her time in Troop 199, she earned 32 merit badges and served in several leadership roles. She plans to attend Southern Illinois University to pursue a nursing degree.
Teresa Farquhar earned her Eagle Scout rank in April 2026. For her project, she designed and built accessible raised garden beds at York Township, allowing local seniors to grow fresh produce while also helping provide food for families in need. In addition to Scouting, she competes on Willowbrook's girls bowling team and helped establish the school's Junior ROTC battalion. She plans to attend College of DuPage to study criminal justice and fire science.
