Villa Park Opens Monthly Evening with the Village Board |
Residents invited to connect with elected officials beginning October 26 |

Villa Park residents will have a new way to meet their elected officials when Evening with the Village Board launches Monday, October 26.
The monthly gathering gives community members an opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns and share ideas in an informal setting without arranging an appointment.
Meetings will take place on the fourth Monday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Board Room at Villa Park Village Hall.
The hour is scheduled immediately before the regular Village Board meeting at 7 p.m., making it convenient for residents to attend both.
All Board members are invited to participate in these discussions, which are designed for conversation rather than official decision-making.
No formal votes or Board actions will take place during the informal gathering.
Organizers hope that keeping the same schedule and location each month will make it easier for neighbors to find time to connect with their Village government.
Residents are welcome to remain for the regular public Board meeting afterward, where they may observe or participate under the meeting's normal procedures.
The program also has a potential benefit for local businesses.
Each month, a different Villa Park restaurant or food business may be invited to voluntarily provide refreshments as a featured local business, with recognition through event promotions and Village communications.
Whether someone has a neighborhood question, a suggestion for improving the community or simply wants to get acquainted with local officials, the new gathering offers an accessible starting point.
DATE: Monday, October 26, 2026, and every fourth Monday thereafter.
TIME: 6:00–7:00 p.m., before the regular 7:00 p.m. Village Board meeting.
LOCATION: Villa Park Village Hall, Board Room.
ADMISSION: Free; no appointment is needed. |
