Veterans and community members are invited to VFW Post 2801 in Villa Park for a Veterans Day Ceremony on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, beginning at 11 a.m..

The observance will be held at 39 E. St. Charles Road, Villa Park, bringing neighbors together to remember and honor those who have served in the nation's armed forces.

The program is organized with the Village of Villa Park, the City of Oakbrook Terrace and Villa Park VFW Post 2801.

Speakers and a moment of silence are planned as the gathering recognizes military service, courage and sacrifice.

The formal ceremony is scheduled from 11 a.m. until noon.

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to stay for complimentary lunch and light refreshments.

The gathering offers a chance not only to observe Veterans Day but also to meet veterans and show them appreciation in person.

Families and residents across Villa Park and neighboring communities are welcome to attend.

For veterans, the day offers a reminder that their service remains recognized and valued well beyond their years in uniform.

For younger residents, it is an opportunity to learn why November 11 is set aside each year to honor the nation's military veterans.

A simple conversation or expression of thanks can make the observance especially meaningful.

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, November 11, at 11 a.m. and join the community at VFW Post 2801.

Together, Villa Park neighbors can make this year's Veterans Day a heartfelt occasion of remembrance and gratitude.
